Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support high-risk obstetrical care in a hospital on an 8-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit is a high-risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds, uses Meditech and CPN, and commonly staffs AWHONN ratios of 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 assignments.

• Provide bedside care for high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor fetal status and labor progress
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Circulate during cesarean delivery procedures
• Support cervical ripening, triage, and active labor care
• Assist with dilation and curettage procedures
• Deliver recovery care for postpartum and high-acuity patients

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience
• High-risk, high-volume labor and delivery experience
• High-risk obstetrical bedside training
• Circulating in cesarean sections
• High-acuity postpartum recovery care
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate
