Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit for a 12-week contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 15-bed unit cares for mothers and newborns, with infants rooming in and a nursery used as needed; average daily census is 8.

• Assess laboring patients and support vaginal births
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and recovery care
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Provide newborn assessments and thermoregulation support
• Educate parents on breastfeeding, newborn care and discharge instructions

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Beginner
• Prior travel experience

• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Intermediate
• Amnioinfusion
• NST interpretation
• Triage of obstetrical patients
• Sterile vaginal exam experience
