Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 12-week contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 15-bed unit has an average daily census of 8, supports rooming-in for infants, and uses a newborn nursery when needed. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and recognize changes
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean recovery, and newborn assessment
• Support couplet care, breastfeeding education, and discharge teaching
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and uterotonic therapy as ordered
• Document care and communicate with the team using SBAR

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner certifications
• Prior travel experience

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• Amnioinfusion and NST experience
• Obstetrical triage and charge experience
