Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a high-risk labor and delivery unit with obstetric triage and testing in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The hospital uses Epic, has Magnet status and Level II trauma designation, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Monitor fetal and maternal status during triage and active labor
• Assist with cesarean birth, recovery, and related procedures
• Support high-risk antepartum and multiple-birth care
• Manage IV therapy, medications, and blood product administration
• Document patient assessments and responses in Epic
• Educate families on newborn and postpartum care

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience
• Labor, antepartum, triage, and obstetric emergency skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Amnioinfusion, VBAC management, and pre-eclampsia care
• Breastfeeding and lactation support
