Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 26-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The high-risk unit handles OB triage, antepartum care, deliveries, and recovery with Epic charting in a Magnet, teaching, Level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide labor, delivery, triage, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean births, and recovery care
• Support charge nurse duties and coordinate patient flow
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and newborn care

• Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Epic charting experience

• Amnioinfusion and VBAC management
• Breastfeeding support and discharge teaching
• Teaching hospital experience
