Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Dulles, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures in an acute care hospital, on a 13-week contract in Dulles, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech and MacLab charting and a 1:1 patient ratio in a procedural setting.

• Prepare the cath lab and IR suite for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support scrub duties throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the RN or provider
• Handle instruments, supplies, contrast support, and specimen care as needed
• Document procedural care and patient flow in the charting system

• ACLS certification
• Cardiac catheterization scrub experience
• Interventional radiology procedural support skills
