Travel Intermediate Care RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for pediatric step-down patients in an acute care hospital in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The 36-bed unit has private rooms, mixed acuity ratios of 1:3 and 1:4, and uses Meditech. Trauma and burns are handled elsewhere.

• Monitor pediatric step-down patients with mixed acuity needs
• Assist with high flow oxygen and post-surgical care
• Support care for spinal fusion and chest tube patients
• Manage NGTs, Foley catheters, TP tubes, PIVs, and phlebotomy
• Assist with occasional lumbar puncture care
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the care team

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certification
• 1 year of current pediatric Registered Nurse experience
• Comfort with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion, and chest tube care

• Prior Meditech experience
