Travel Intermediate Care RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for pediatric step-down patients in a hospital in Denver, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit has 36 private rooms, mixed step-down and basic care ratios of 1:3 and 1:4, and uses Meditech charting.

• Monitor pediatric step-down and basic care patients
• Support children with high flow oxygen and other intermediate care needs
• Assist with spinal fusion, chest tube, and post-procedure care
• Insert or manage NGTs, Foley catheters, TP tubes, and PIVs
• Assist with phlebotomy and occasional lumbar punctures
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the care team

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 1-year current pediatric Registered Nurse experience
• Comfort with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion care, and chest tubes

• Meditech experience
