Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for adult neuro and cardiac patients in a hospital stepdown unit in Cookeville, Tennessee, on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 12 patients and uses a 4:1 day ratio.

• Monitor adult stepdown patients with cardiac and neuro needs
• Interpret rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Support care for observation patients and post-procedure cardiac patients
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy and other support teams
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Provide safe, timely care in a high-acuity hospital unit

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of cardiac experience
• Skill in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Prior travel experience
