Travel Intermediate Care RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a progressive care ICU in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The unit has 24 beds, sees about 15 patients daily and uses Epic.

• Monitor adult intermediate care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and manage insulin protocols
• Assist with telemetry, dysrhythmias, ABGs and noninvasive airway support
• Support lines, drains, chest tubes, wound care and blood product therapy
• Provide care for stroke, post-MI, renal, seizure and substance withdrawal patients
• Document assessments and collaborate with rapid response and code teams

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certification
• 2 years of intermediate care, stepdown or progressive care experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• CPI certification
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
