Travel Intermediate Care RN in Bay City, MI

A Travel Intermediate Care Registered Nurse will care for stepdown patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bay City, Michigan. The unit uses telemetry and advanced monitoring for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, and complex conditions, including vent and stroke cases.

• Monitor vital signs, telemetry, and other clinical changes
• Assess patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer IV therapies, medications, and titrated drips as ordered
• Care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, and neurologic concerns
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists on care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Intermediate care or stepdown nursing experience
• Strong telemetry and IV therapy skills
