Travel Infusion RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide outpatient adult infusion care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with an average daily census of 80-120 and uses Epic charting. Care focuses on lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Monitor for infusion reactions, extravasation, and other complications
• Start IVs and manage infusion pumps
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects
• Coordinate care with pharmacy and the care team
• Recognize abnormal lab values and urgent clinical changes

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Chemo certification and OCN or ONCC/ONS certification
• 2 years of infusion center and outpatient oncology experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• CAR-T experience
• Inpatient oncology experience
• Stem cell therapy experience
• Teaching hospital experience
