About this job
A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide infusion care in an acute care hospital IV infusion room on a 13-week contract in Beverly, Massachusetts. The unit serves oncology patients and delivers chemotherapy and infusion therapies in a focused treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer infusion and chemotherapy treatments
- Monitor patients during therapy and respond to treatment reactions
- Assess venous access, line patency, and infusion tolerance
- Educate patients about therapy plans, side effects, and aftercare
- Coordinate care with oncology and infusion team members
- Document assessments, treatment response, and nursing interventions
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support certification
- 2+ years of infusion and chemotherapy experience
- Oncology experience
Preferred Skills
- ONS chemotherapy certification
