Travel Infusion RN in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide infusion care in an outpatient cancer center for a 26-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The unit serves adult oncology and hematology patients, uses Epic charting, and typically runs 1:5 with about 24 visits per day; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Administer infusion therapies and chemotherapy support
• Perform phlebotomy and start and maintain IV access
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Monitor patients for reactions, side effects, and abnormal lab values
• Support blood product, port flush, and injection treatments
• Recognize complications and respond to infusion-related changes

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• CRNI certification
• 1 year of infusion or outpatient oncology experience
• Epic charting experience
• Phlebotomy, IV start, and central line care skills

• OCN certification
• Inpatient or outpatient oncology experience
• Experience with a broad range of cancer diagnoses
• Neutropenic precautions and isolation precautions
