Travel Infusion RN in Mauston, WI

A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide specialized infusion care for patients receiving intravenous and injectable therapies in an acute care hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Mauston, Wisconsin. Care includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, blood products, and other medications. The role monitors for reactions, manages vascular access, and documents treatment in electronic medical records.

• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other intravenous or injectable medications
• Monitor vital signs and respond to allergic reactions, extravasation, or other complications
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, infection prevention, and self-care
• Collaborate with providers and pharmacists while documenting treatment and patient response in electronic medical records

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• Associate degree in Nursing
• BLS certification, current or within 1 month of hire
• ACLS certification, current or within 1 year of hire
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card, current or within 6 months of hire
• Compact licensure with Wisconsin license obtained within 90 days of start

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
