Travel ICU RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The 14-bed unit uses Epic and commonly cares for medical ICU, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, overdose, and dialysis or CRRT patients with 1:2 ICU and 1:3 PCU ratios.

• Monitor and assess critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Administer IV medications and manage insulin and sedation protocols
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to changes in patient condition
• Care for ventilated patients and support respiratory treatment plans
• Maintain central lines and establish IV access
• Coordinate care with rapid response and interdisciplinary teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of intensive care unit experience and 1:2 patient ratio experience
• Central line care, ventilator management, and IV insulin protocol experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation, sedation management, and IV access skills

• Epic charting system experience
