Travel ICU RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. The 13-bed unit treats sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, severe DKA, and multisystem organ failure with telemetry monitoring and critical care equipment. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor adult and geriatric ICU patients with sepsis, stroke, respiratory failure, and multisystem organ failure
• Manage ventilated patients, BiPAP, and CPAP support
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and observe hemodynamic changes
• Interpret dysrhythmias and ABGs and respond to clinical deterioration
• Maintain arterial lines, central lines, continuous IV sedation, and isolation precautions
• Assist with suctioning and critical care transport needs

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Arterial line and central line care
• Charting system experience

• Neuro intensive care unit experience
• Surgical intensive care unit experience
• Trauma intensive care unit experience
• TNCC
