A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Olympia, Washington. The unit cares for high-acuity patients, uses Epic, and maintains 1:4-5 ratios.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess critically ill patients and trends
- Monitor hemodynamics, neurologic status, and oxygenation
- Administer medications and titrate therapies safely
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic
- Escalate changes in condition promptly
Qualifications
- Active Washington Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS through AHA
- 1+ years of recent ICU experience in a similar hospital setting
- Epic charting experience
Preferred Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale
- CCRN certification
