Travel ICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults in a medical intensive care unit in San Antonio, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and supports patients with chest tubes, trachs, and invasive lines.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in condition
• Assist with intubations, central lines, and arterial lines
• Manage chest tubes, trachs, NG tubes, and Foley catheters
• Perform dressing changes and maintain invasive access
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team on ICU treatment plans

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• 2 to 3 years or more ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking skills

• MICU and MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech experience
