Travel ICU RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The 25-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse, maintains 2:1 ratios, and serves a comprehensive stroke center and level 2 trauma center.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications as ordered
• Manage chest tubes and invasive line care
• Assist with intubation, central line, and arterial line procedures
• Complete bedside handoff and patient experience updates
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy and providers

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• ICU experience
• Strong telemetry skills
• Vasoactive and inotrope titration experience
• Chest tube experience

• Open heart experience
• Temporary pacing experience
• Swan-Ganz catheter experience
