Travel ICU RN in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric ICU patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. The unit uses Epic and maintains 1:2 ratios across CICU and SICU.

• Monitor critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients and invasive lines
• Support sedation, blood products, and IV insulin protocols
• Assess neurologic and cardiac changes
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy and rapid response teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of intensive care unit experience
• Adult critical care experience with ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and drips
• Epic experience

• ECMO, IABP, EVD, and ICP monitoring
• Post-cardiac surgery, post-neurosurgery, and TAVR care
• Teaching hospital experience and Level I or Level II trauma experience
• CPI or MAB
