Travel ICU RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for medically complex adults in a hospital intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit is high acuity and fast paced, with Epic charting and a typical 2:1 ratio.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Manage ventilator support, vasoactive infusions, and IV insulin protocols
• Assist with central and arterial line care and chest tube procedures
• Support care for shock, respiratory failure, stroke, ARDS, DKA, and multisystem organ failure
• Respond to code blue events and assist with rapid sequence intubation
• Coordinate with respiratory therapy, rapid response, pharmacy, and other support teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of Medical Intensive Care Unit or Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience
• Epic charting experience
• Level II trauma center experience
• Annual stroke-specific education
• Critical care skills with ventilators, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, and chest tubes

• ICP monitoring
• Pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring
• Sheath removal
• Teaching hospital experience
