Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital ICU unit on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit cares for critically ill patients and relies on close monitoring and advanced support.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to status changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Manage ventilator, hemodynamic, and cardiac monitoring support
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
• Critical care assessment, telemetry, and ventilator management skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course
