Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside critical care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit serves critically ill adults and uses advanced monitoring and support equipment.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in condition
• Administer prescribed medications and titrated infusions
• Assist with advanced monitoring and life support interventions
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Perform assessments, document care, and update plans
• Respond to emergencies and initiate rapid interventions

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care nursing skills

• TNCC certification
