Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 13-week contract. The ICU serves critically ill patients who need close monitoring and complex nursing care.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ordered medications and therapies for critically ill patients
• Perform focused assessments and report urgent findings promptly
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document nursing care, responses, and patient progress accurately
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges within the unit

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
