Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac and medical patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit serves cardiac and medical critical care patients and relies on continuous monitoring and rapid response to change.

• Monitor critically ill cardiac and medical patients
• Assess hemodynamic status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and titrate IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Assist with ventilator, line, and cardiac monitoring care
• Maintain a safe, organized critical care environment

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care assessment and telemetry skills

• TNCC certification
