Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The assignment focuses on a mixed critical care unit with complex monitoring needs and close interdisciplinary coordination.

• Monitor hemodynamics and clinical status
• Administer ordered therapies and medications
• Coordinate care with the critical care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses
• Assist with bedside procedures and monitoring
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
• Critical care assessment and teamwork skills
• Acute care nursing foundation
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Trauma Nursing Core Course
