Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an ICU and ICU flex pool at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 26-week contract. The role supports adult critical care patients in a flexible intensive care setting.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer critical care medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Perform assessments and document patient progress
• Support ventilated and unstable patients
• Educate patients and families on ICU care

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Strong critical care nursing skills
