Travel ICU RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in the critical care unit of an acute care hospital in Mason City, Iowa on a 13-week contract. The setting serves patients with complex needs who require close monitoring and rapid response.

• Monitor patients with complex, unstable conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies and ordered treatments
• Assess cardiac, respiratory and neurologic status
• Respond to acute changes and escalate care needs
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Support patients and families with education

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Core critical care nursing skills

• TNCC certification
