Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond quickly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and nurses
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support ventilator, telemetry, and critical care monitoring
• Educate patients and families when appropriate
• Maintain a safe, organized ICU environment

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care nursing skills
• Accurate bedside assessment and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
