About this job

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in Conroe, Texas. The unit has 30 beds, uses Meditech, and manages 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 ratios for high-acuity patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor ventilated patients and cardiovascular drips
  • Support care for CRRT, IABP and Impella
  • Assist with thoracentesis and arterial line placement
  • Assess changes in condition and respond quickly
  • Document care and patient status in Meditech
  • Coordinate with charge nurses and the care team

Qualifications

  • Texas Registered Nurse license
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips

Preferred Skills

  • Neuro ICU experience
