Travel ICU RN in Colville, WA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide intensive care for adult and geriatric patients in a critical access hospital in Colville, Washington, on a 13-week contract. The 4-bed unit uses Epic, telemetry monitoring, and typical 1:2 ratios for adults and geriatrics with overflow and ventilated critical care patients.

• Monitor critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP support, and hemodynamic drips
• Assess arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• Administer blood products and critical care medications
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias, then respond to changes
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy and other support services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of intensive care unit experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Critical care skills with ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, BiPAP/CPAP, drips, ABGs, dysrhythmias, blood products, and multisystem organ failure

• Chest tube insertion and removal assistance
• Continuous IV paralytics and neuromuscular blockade
• High Flow Nasal Cannula support
• Endotracheal and nasotracheal suctioning
