Travel ICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The role supports medical, cardiac, trauma, neuro, and intermediate care settings in a Level 1 trauma hospital and uses Epic charting.

• Monitor critically ill patients in ICU and intermediate care settings
• Assess ventilator needs, cardiac rhythms, and neurologic status
• Administer ordered therapies within scope of practice
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Document patient status and care in Epic
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate care promptly

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending allowed
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of intensive care experience
• Ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• TNCC and CCRN
• Continuous IV sedation, ICP monitoring, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring
• Level 1 trauma experience
