Travel Endoscopy RN in Simpsonville, SC

A Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse will provide GI lab nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital in Simpsonville, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 2 rooms and uses EPIC. Nurses assist with conscious sedation, recovery, and endoscopy support in a small setting.

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures
• Monitor conscious sedation during procedures
• Support recovery from conscious sedation
• Assist with colonoscopy, EGD, and bronchoscopy care
• Handle and label specimens
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Use EPIC and medication dispensing systems

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of experience
• OR PACU experience
• EPIC experience
• Prior travel experience
