Travel Endoscopy RN in Bakersfield, CA

A Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Bakersfield, California. The role supports assessment, procedure preparation, recovery care, and interdisciplinary coordination.

• Assess patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Prepare the unit and equipment for gastrointestinal testing and treatment
• Assist during endoscopy and related interventions
• Monitor patient comfort, status, and recovery
• Document nursing care and communicate findings to the care team
• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and follow-up care

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
