Travel Endoscopy RN in Orange, CA

A Travel Pediatric Endoscopy Registered Nurse will support pediatric endoscopy and minor surgical care in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The unit serves pediatric inpatients and outpatients with rare adult cases, handles GI and pulmonary procedures, and uses Cerner.

• Prepare pediatric patients for endoscopy and minor surgical procedures
• Assist with GI and pulmonary procedures
• Support ENT, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology cases
• Monitor patients before and after procedures
• Start peripheral IVs, handle blood products, and manage specimens
• Document care in Cerner and follow safety protocols

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 2 years of acute or outpatient experience with general surgery and the majority of listed specialty areas
• Cerner charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Ambulatory OR experience
• Bone marrow and central venous line skills
• Trauma Level I experience and complex surgical case experience
