Travel Endoscopy RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse will provide endoscopy care in an acute care hospital during a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with an average daily census of 15 and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Circulate endoscopy procedures
• Prepare patients for colonoscopy, EGD, and EUS
• Assist with ERCP and variceal banding
• Recover patients after monitored anesthesia care sedation
• Start and maintain IV access
• Handle specimens and labeled documentation

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact license in hand before start
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of endoscopy nursing experience
• Endoscopy skills in airway management, circulation, pre/post procedure care, and IV starts

• ERCP experience
• Balloon dilators and dilator use
• Epic charting experience
• Polyp snares, forceps, and foreign body equipment
