About this job

A Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital endoscopy unit on a 13-week contract in Akron, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
  • Monitor vital signs before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
  • Support sedation recovery and post-procedure observation
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Maintain a clean, safe procedural environment

Qualifications

  • Ohio Registered Nurse License or compact state Registered Nurse License
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • 12 months of permanent Endoscopy experience
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Strong IV access skills
