Travel ED RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a high-volume unit at a teaching hospital in West Hollywood, California on a 13-week contract. The unit sees adults and children, uses Epic, and includes inpatient holds across ICU, med tele, and med surg levels.

• Triage and stabilize emergency patients of all ages
• Start and maintain IV access and administer emergency medications
• Monitor procedural sedation and support conscious sedation care
• Assess, interpret, and manage dysrhythmias and acute changes
• Provide care for psychiatric holds, suicidal patients, and violent behavior
• Support inpatient holds and work with the care team
• Perform phlebotomy, blood product administration, and isolation precautions

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI
• Emergency care skills with adult and pediatric patients
• Psychiatric hold, dysrhythmia, IV start, blood product, and procedural sedation skills

• TNCC
• Trauma and triage experience
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Epic charting experience
