Travel ED RN in Weatherford, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in the emergency department on a 13-week contract in Weatherford, Texas. The unit has 23 beds, uses Meditech charting, and serves Level IV trauma, primary stroke, and chest pain patients with standard ED equipment. Care is delivered with 4:1 ratios and an all-RN team supported by techs and a secretary.

• Assess and triage emergency patients
• Monitor and stabilize patients with acute medical and trauma needs
• Administer medications and treatments per emergency care protocols
• Assist with standard ED procedures for stroke and chest pain evaluation
• Document care accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate timely treatment
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Minimum two years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certification

• Meditech experience
