Travel ED RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit sees neonates through geriatrics, averages 180 visits daily, and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess emergency patients across all age groups
• Administer blood products, IV therapy, and emergency medications
• Monitor dysrhythmias and respond to cardiac changes
• Support procedural sedation and central line care
• Start and maintain IV access and obtain blood samples
• Coordinate care with respiratory, rapid response, and other support teams

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience
• Blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV vasopressor management, procedural sedation, and IV access skills

• TNCC or EDAP/ENPC
• Trauma level I or II experience
• Charge nurse and teaching hospital experience
