Travel ED RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, including STEMI and comprehensive stroke patients, and uses Cerner. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess emergency patients across pediatric and adult age groups
• Stabilize patients with cardiac, stroke, and other urgent conditions
• Administer medications and monitor response to treatment
• Support dysrhythmia recognition and continuous IV sedation care
• Coordinate care with physicians and support services
• Document patient care in the electronic charting system

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Pediatric emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Continuous IV sedation skills
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills

• TNCC
• ICP monitoring
• Triage experience
