Travel ED RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital in Torrance, California on a 13-week contract. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with STEMI and stroke cases, and uses Cerner. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients across all age groups
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize dysrhythmias
• Assist with continuous IV sedation and emergency interventions
• Support STEMI and stroke care pathways
• Respond to behavioral health emergencies and coordinate safe transfers
• Document care in Cerner and communicate with the care team

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Pediatric emergency department experience
• Continuous IV sedation skills
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

• TNCC
• ICP monitoring experience
• Triage experience
