Travel ED RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The 40-bed unit sees about 145 patients daily, uses Meditech, and follows a 4:1 ratio.

• Perform rapid triage and emergency assessments
• Monitor and reassess patients throughout the visit
• Screen and support care for sepsis and stroke
• Assist with trauma activations and major incident response
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapy
• Support procedural sedation, wound care, and splinting
• Provide care for pediatric and behavioral health emergencies

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 to 2 years of current acute care emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Level I or Level II trauma experience
• Meditech experience
