Travel ED RN in State College, PA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital in State College, Pennsylvania on a 13-week contract. The role serves neonate through geriatric patients using EPIC charting and emergency nursing standards.

• Triage patients and prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs
• Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient responses
• Recognize changes in condition and escalate care as needed
• Provide patient and family education throughout the emergency visit
• Document histories, assessments, interventions, and discharge teaching
• Support readiness of supplies and equipment for emergency care

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification
• 2 years emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• EPIC computer charting experience
