Travel ED RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 9 beds, uses Meditech, and works at a 1:4 patient ratio.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IV access and obtain bloodwork
• Assist with Foley placement, breathing treatments, and medication administration
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Document assessments and treatments in Meditech
• Support the team with safe, efficient patient care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI
• 2 years of emergency room experience

• Meditech experience
• Freestanding emergency department experience
