Travel ED RN in Salem, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for critically ill and high- and low-acuity patients in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech and supports 4:1 ratios for emergency care.

• Assess emergency patients with varying acuity
• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes
• Administer medications and support lab work and diagnostics
• Coordinate care with the emergency department team
• Document care in the electronic medical record
• Maintain safe patient flow and prioritization

• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• ED nursing experience
• Ability to care for critically ill patients
