Travel ED RN in Pasadena, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department in Pasadena, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 22 beds, uses a 1:4 ratio, and charts in Meditech Magic, transitioning to Expanse.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac status
• Start IVs and obtain blood samples
• Assist with moderate sedation and splinting
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate changes

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications
• Emergency department nursing skills
• Accredited Registered Nurse education

• ENPC certification
• NRP certification
