Travel ED RN in Pasadena, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in Pasadena, Texas. The unit has 22 beds, a 1:4 ratio, and uses Meditech Magic while transitioning to Meditech Expanse.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start IV access and collect blood specimens
• Assist with moderate sedation and splinting
• Monitor cardiac status and support defibrillation readiness
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Document care and communicate changes to the team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• ENPC certification
• NRP certification
