Travel ED RN in Muncie, IN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Muncie, Indiana. The unit is a Level II trauma center with 48 beds that can flex to 62 and serves all ages; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and stabilize adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer IV therapy, blood draws, and medication support
• Monitor dysrhythmias and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with procedural sedation, ventilatory support, and CPAP/BiPAP care
• Support behavioral health, isolation, and trauma-related emergencies

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 3 years of emergency department experience
• Emergency department experience with adult and pediatric patients
• Dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, phlebotomy, and ventilatory support skills
• Charting system experience

• NIHSS
• Triage experience
• Trauma, stroke, and STEMI experience
