Travel ED RN in McConnellsburg, PA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a rural critical access hospital for a 13-week contract in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. The unit averages about 30 patients per day and serves adult and pediatric patients in a level IV trauma setting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Start and maintain IV access and obtain blood specimens
• Administer medications and blood products per protocol
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, obtain 12-lead ECGs, and support dysrhythmia care
• Provide respiratory support and manage acute changes in condition
• Document care and collaborate with the emergency team

• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency assessment and IV skills

• Triage experience
• Ventilated patient care
• Chest tube management
• Neuro-trauma, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury care
